MBCI operates 16 manufacturing facilities and sales offices throughout the United States, delivering a wide range of metal products direct to our customers. With the many locations across the country, MBCI utilizes hub-and-spoke distribution and will ship orders from the closest location to the construction site. Shorter distances between manufacturing facilities and project sites results in decreased delivery times, lower transportation costs and reduced negative effects on the environment.
Although MBCI began manufacturing basic metal building components, such as roofing, siding and light gauge framing, we have grown far beyond what our name implies. Throughout our history, MBCI has made advancements in manufacturing and innovations in metal panel offerings. We provide online solutions so customers have better access to information and the power to purchase at any time of day.
Completely self-supporting, with in-house design capabilities for manufacturing equipment as well as product development, MBCI has maintained a leading position in the metal construction industry. In fact, MBCI operates an independently owned UL approved test chamber.
