In 1998, MBCI became part of Houston based NCI Building Systems, Inc. This combination created a company with nearly $1 billion in sales, close to 5,000 employees and 37 manufacturing facilities. Today, NCI Building Systems is the largest integrated manufacturer of building components, engineered building systems and metal coil coating in the industry with over 5700 employees and over $1.5 billion in sales. NCI Building Systems is traded on the NYSE with a stock symbol of NCS.
