Their experience within the metal construction industry and the many years they’ve spent with MBCI allows them knowledge and understanding to guide the company and our employees down the path of success.
Mark Dobbins
President
Dobbins was named President of the NCI Components division in March 2012. He has been a part of the MBCI and NCI organization since 1988 and has successfully held numerous positions within the company.
Dobbins began his career as a sheet line foreman but quickly assumed the role of Night Superintendent. In 1991 he moved to Kingsbury, Ind., where he accepted the position of Plant Manager of ABC, a division of MBCI that focuses on the agricultural and residential markets. In 1993, he was named Plant Manager of the first combined component facility for MBCI and ABC in Shelbyville, Ind. He went on to be the Plant Manager of the MBCI/ABC Hernando, Miss., facility the following year. In 1996, Dobbins became the General Manager of Manufacturing in the Central Region for MBCI. Two years later he was promoted to the position of Senior General Manager of Manufacturing for MBCI.
In 2000, Dobbins was name President of ABC and in 2001 was promoted to Vice President of Manufacturing for NCI's Components Division. He held that position until 2006 when he was named President of NCI's Buildings Division. On March 31, 2008, Dobbins was named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Office of NCI Building Systems, Inc.
Bill Coleman
Vice President of Sales
Coleman became Vice President of Sales for NCI’s Components division in April 2008. Coleman began his career with MBCI in 1984 as a Regional Manager. He was later promoted to Sales Manager. In 2002, Coleman moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where he became General Manager of Sales for ABC. He went on to become the Vice President of Sales for ABC before relocating to Houston to serve in his current role.
Phillip Wilkerson
Vice President of Manufacturing
Wilkerson began his role as Vice President of Manufacturing for NCI’s Components division in January 2007. He started at MBCI as an Industrial Engineer in 1996, in which he was responsible for the development, implementation and management of the MBCI Manufacturing Efficiency and Productivity Program. From 2000 to 2002, Wilkerson served as the General Manager of Manufacturing for MBCI’s Central Region. He then moved over to NCI Group where he served as the General Manager of Corporate Purchasing for four years. In 2006, he managed NCI’s heavy gauge metal coil coating facilities before returning to MBCI in 2007.
Lynn Widrick
Vice President of Equipment
Widrick is the Vice President of Equipment for NCI Group, Inc., in which he is involved with managing fixed assets, purchasing new equipment, research and development, acquisitions due diligence, SSR Licensee Program, installation of equipment, and the new layouts and construction of new facilities.
Widrick started at MBCI in 1984 and moved into his current position in 2006. At MBCI, he assisted with the startup and building of new component plants. He eventually became the Manager of Equipment and then the General Manager of Equipment during his tenures.
Ken Buchinger
Vice President of Business Development and Research & Development
Buchinger assumed his new position with MBCI in August 2008. Buchinger joined MBCI in March 1988 in the Technical Services Department. Throughout his tenure he has been responsible for handling field problems, developing weathertightness warranties, erector training and certifications, research and development and the creation and management of the MBCI installation manuals and catalogs. In 1996 he served as Manager of Product Development and in 1998 was promoted to General Manager of Product Development and Installation. In 2005, Buchinger was named Vice President of Corporate Warranties and Certifications.
