Letter from MBCI President, Joel Viechnicki

Our brand promise states that "MBCI sets itself apart by partnering with customers and understanding their needs to grow their business." We honor this promise in our day-to-day operations through the trust we build with our customers and the relationships that become cemented by working hand-in-hand on projects. However, we understand that to continually improve, MBCI must be proactive in collecting constructive feedback, and implementing operational and strategic improvements to our organization. Our new Voice of the Customer (VOC) program launched this year to facilitate this effort and support our promise.

Specifically, the VOC initiative provides a platform for customers to give feedback on our performance, and permits us to focus our efforts on the issues that customers care about most. In fact, as a result of first-quarter responses, MBCI has identified and implemented tactics to further improve our communication and response time across the board. We are reviewing VOC results on a regular basis, and encourage you to participate so that we may continue to improve your overall experience.

I am also most excited to announce that MBCI will launch a new online ordering site this summer that will simplify the way our customers order metal roof and wall components. This website will allow users to quote the cost of materials quickly and accurately, order online anytime and swiftly get back to what's important—their business or project. Accessible through desktop, tablet and mobile devices, the system is built to save time. We'll be sharing more information with you as we get closer to the go-live date. Lastly, product development remains a focus for MBCI. In February, we attended the International Roofing Expo, where we presented new improvements to our proprietary over-metal retrofit panel, Retro-R®. Design enhancements have been made to this panel to create better symmetry, resulting in improved aesthetics and more flexible installation (installers can now sheet in any direction). Additionally, the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation has approved this panel statewide for roof applications in Florida. This is a great win for us and our customers who operate in high-wind climates, providing a cost-effective and convenient option for retrofitting over existing R panel.
